On the Blink

To celebrate poetry month, I was featured on today’s episode of BirdNote! BirdNote is a podcast all about birds. The episodes are short and very informative, covering birds from biological, literary, and even cultural angles.

In today’s episode, I got to read my poem “Trading Threes,” which appears in Neoteny: Poems. This poem is about the Northern Cardinals I hear in my neighborhood. I also got to talk about how I wrote the poem and why I think the poem is important.
